Dr. Brian Benedict graduated from Purdue University on a swimming scholarship in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He then moved to Chicago in 1992 where he was employed by the University of Chicago as a budget analyst for two years. It was there that he married his lovely wife, Susanne, in 1994 and moved to Indianapolis where Susanne attended the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Benedict soon followed suit, obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2000 and accepting a position at Wishard Hospital and Riley Hospital as a general practice hospital dental resident in 2001. He received his Masters of Science in Dentistry and specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2003.

A native of Valparaiso, Indiana, Dr. Benedict has lived in Fishers, Indiana for 10 years with his wife, their three children, and a dog named Wylie Coyote. He enjoys fly fishing and fly-tying along with spending quality time with his family.
